Chance Rides, LLC is currently seeking a Electro-Mechanical Designer to join the team.

As we continue to experience steady growth, we are currently hiring for the position of Electro-Mechanical Designer, with competitive pay, hiring bonus, 401k and full benefits!

Primary Job Duties:

  • Utilize electrical and mechanical knowledge to design / document all facets of the electrical system design and assembly, electrical component installations and quality process of the company’s product lines
  • Control Panel Design and component installation compliance
  • Cabinet Layout to UL508A and NEC code
  • Electrical Power distribution and protection standards
  • Motors and Drives implementation and environmental requirements

Job Skills:

  • Associates Degree from an accredited technical institution preferred or related field experience
  • Minimum of three years with design and documentation of electrical power and control systems
  • Experience with AutoCAD required; experience with CREO a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to stay on tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience with panel layout and design a plus
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work alone at times
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics experience is a plus
  • A proven understanding of electrical power and controls assemblies, task management, and quality assurance programs
