Chance Rides is currently seeking an Expeditor to join the team.

Tram Work

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Oversee the flow of production work orders in final assembly areas
  • Moves parts to/from final assembly areas as needed
  • Monitors part shortages and develops parts shortage lists
  • Enters work order statuses, closes out orders, and makes inventory adjustments using ERP system (Global Shop)
  • Expedites ship outs on spare parts orders
  • Keeps operation manager, production manager, supervisors and employees informed regarding status and priority of work orders in final assembly areas
  • Pulling and picking of parts and assisting with shipping and receiving, as needed
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor, as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of manufacturing expediting experience
  • High school diploma: associate’s degree preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills, including keyboarding for data entry and experience using MS Excel (ERP System – Global Shop a plus)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language as well as, work within production deadlines (i.e. overtime when needed), work independently with limited direct supervision, lift and carry at least 30 lbs, and able to become certified to drive a forklift
  • Proficiency reading blueprints and schematics a plus
  • Must be personable, reliable and have strong attention to detail
