Human Resources Generalist – ($55-65k)
Chance Rides, LLC is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the team.
The Human Resources Generalist will engage in the daily functions of the Human Resource department including hiring and interviewing personnel, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Manages and oversees all company benefits including 401(k) and conducts monthly and yearly open enrollment meetings.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Conducts new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Assists with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Provides recommended updates and changes to human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, and other forms, policies, documents or processes.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn organizational systems; experience with an HRIS system a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of human resources experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing benefits.
