Chance Rides, LLC is currently seeking an Manual Band Saw/Drill Press Operator to join the team.

 

Primary Job Duties (including but not limited too):

  • Cutting various types of metals per request of manufacturing work order
  • Operating vertical band saws, cut-off saw and drill presses
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and/or blueprints
  • Reading tape measure
  • Fraction/decimal conversion
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times

Skills/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a manual saw/drill press operator
  • Ability to differentiate between various metals (i.e. steel, aluminum, brass, etc.)
  • Ability to proficiently read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch as well as converting decimals to fractions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work within deadlines, follow verbal, written and work order instructions and work independently or with a team
  • Great attention to detail and thorough inspection of work
  • Individual must reliable and punctual with the ability to work 1st shift and OT, as needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
