Chance Rides, LLC manufactures a diverse line of amusement ride products including trains, trams, carousels, thrill rides, observation wheels and roller coasters that are enjoyed all around the world. With over 60 years of legacy and talent, our dedicated leadership, management and skilled workforce serves customers including global attraction venues, theme parks, family entertainment centers, zoos and aquariums. We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Administrative Assistant to join our growing team!
Job Summary:
The Sales Administrative Assistant will provide crucial support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between departments and clients. This role involves administrative tasks, customer records maintenance, and sales support to ensure efficient company operations.
Administrative Support:
- Perform clerical duties to help sales office run smoothly and efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and emails relating to sales queries.
- Coordinate and direct visitors
- Schedule meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for sales team members.
- Prepare spreadsheets and presentations for leadership staff
Customer Records:
- Maintain existing customer sales records and create records for new customers.
- Update records with details of orders and invoices. These records provide useful data for sales reports and for planning future sales and marketing campaigns.
Sales Support:
- Provide support to VP of Sales/Marketing and CEO.
- Answer calls and emails from customers and alert team members to any urgent issues.
- Handle routine requests from customers, such as requests for price quotes or delivery dates.
- Transfer technical queries from sales or customers to the appropriate departments.
- Update representatives on orders and deliveries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 2+ years in an administrative or support role, preferably in a sales environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn our products and industry.
- Experience coordinating or supporting trade shows (some domestic travel may be required)
Chance Rides Offers:
