Steve Gladow came to Chance Rides Manufacturing in 2013 with over 20 years of engineering and manufacturing experience. He’s worked with several North American manufactures of on and off road vehicles and equipment. His experiences give him a sound engineering skill set and encourages a value added approach to the engineering and product development process. Steve uses practices gleaned from years of embracing various lean manufacturing systems.
Electrical Engineering ManagerCHANCE RIDES
Kelly Hopkins has over 27 years of experience in electrical engineering, 12 of them with Chance Rides. In addition to the amusement industry he has worked in industrial automation and aviation developing a diverse skill set that is applied to the design and safe operation of Chance Rides products.
Kelly is a graduate from Oklahoma State University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Controls & Electrical Engineering SupervisorCHANCE RIDES
Erin has ten years of automation experience, five of them with Chance Rides. His previous experiences are in automation for metal building, garage door, steel framing, grain bin, heavy gauge, and automotive industries. His large-scale manufacturing history, along with robotics and safety system understandings, provides a well-versed skill set. He currently supports Chance Rides in the design and implementation of automation control. His modern knowledge of automation has helped Chance Rides advance their ride control systems.
Erin has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from 2008 and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Electronic Engineering Technology from 2014. He holds a qualified MTR certification from UL.
Project ManagerCHANCE RIDES
Derek Schrag has been serving Chance Rides since 1998 in various roles related to production and delivery of our superior products. In 2016 he assumed the role of project manager, ensuring the smooth delivery of all projects from order to installation.
He holds an A.A. degree in automotive repair and has completed Project Management courses through American Management Association.
