This year marks 65 years of Chance Rides delivering “Joy in Motion”—and our story has never been defined by a single ride, a single era, or even a single generation. Since 1961 in Wichita, Kansas, we’ve built a reputation for dependable, crowd-pleasing attractions, from the legendary C.P. Huntington Train and iconic trailer-mounted rides to an expanded lineup that includes carousels, trams, thrill rides, observation wheels and roller coasters. Through every milestone, one thing has stayed constant: a commitment to building experiences people remember and products people trust.

At the heart of Chance Rides is something even more enduring than our innovations—our people. In collaboration with Swedish-based EVX Mobility, we’ve blended European engineering with American manufacturing expertise to bring a cleaner, quieter and more energy-efficient people mover to market. The result? A sleek, durable vehicle that delivers the same trusted performance as our larger trams—now powered by electricity and enhanced with modern sustainability features.

Built for Today’s Environments

Whether it’s navigating the curved paths of a zoo, gliding through a shaded theme park, or traveling across a busy college campus, the eTRAM are designed to move people smoothly and silently—improving the guest experience while minimizing disruption.

These 100% electric vehicles produce zero emissions and feature roof-mounted solar panels that recharge the battery, helping extend range and reduce downtime. It’s an ideal solution for operators looking to reduce their carbon footprint while improving operational efficiency.

Comfort, Accessibility, and Flexibility

Passenger comfort is at the heart of the eTRAM experience. Each unit features spacious seating, extra legroom and whisper-quiet operation for a relaxed ride. The low-floor design makes it easy for all passengers—including those using wheelchairs or mobility aids—to board and exit with ease.

The standard configuration seats 11 passengers in the power unit and when paired with a trailing unit, the total capacity increases to 24 riders, making it perfect for continuous, high-traffic routes.
