Assistant Controller ($75-90k)

Chance Rides, LLC is currently seeking a Assistant Controller to join the team.

As we continue to grow, develop and manufacture new and exciting product lines, we are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Controller with a proven analytic background.

Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Provide guidance for accounting team and oversee accurate general ledger accounting and reporting
• Participate in preparation of monthly reporting to ownership
• Assist in preparation of month end close processes
• Prepare all monthly journal entries with acute attention to detail
• Prepare all monthly account reconciliations for all entities
• Assist in corporate budgeting and forecasting efforts on a monthly and yearly basis
• Assist in development and deployment of corporate accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in monitoring treasury function, including cash and wire activities
• Become Global Shop (ERP) proficient and learn best practices for process improvement implementation
• Prepare ad hoc reporting in an as needed compacity
• Understand and lead special projects and support project cost analysis as required by Corporate
• Provide training and technical education to accounting and corporate staff, as needed

• Proven track record of balancing multiple special projects in conjunction with typical daily duties
• High moral standards and strong work ethic

 Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years’ experience as a Senior Accountant and/or Assistant Controller
