We’re looking for a Prep & Paint Tech who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and contributing to experiences that last a lifetime. Job Duties include (but not limited to):

• Paint steel and fiberglass parts of various shapes and sizes.
• Perform bodywork duties, including prepping fiberglass and metal parts by filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces.
• Accurately mix paints, primers, and related materials according to specifications.
• Operate forklift and paint line equipment as needed.
• Assemble, operate, maintain, and clean spray painting equipment.
• Ensure proper paint thickness and a high-quality finish.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

 Minimum Skills/Requirements:

• 1 year of relevant bodywork, painting, and paint preparation experience or equivalent training preferred.
• Ability to achieve consistent paint thickness and finish quality.
• Prior experience with proportioning units and color mixing.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines, follow verbal and written instructions, and work independently.
• High attention to detail with thorough inspection of finished work.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, respirator physical and fit test, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting to 40 lbs.

General Function: Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance set by Chance Rides, LLC, customer specifications, and industry standards. The Quality Manager typically performs the duties listed below but is not limited to them. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high energy leadership of, and mentorship for, quality team members while building a collaborative relationship with other departments
• Manage the implementation of the quality management system
• Ownership of the Quality Manual and related policies and procedures
• Manage and maintain required documentation for quality records
• Audit and assist training shop personnel and vendors ensuring work is being performed and documented to requirements
• Manage the quality team, conduct annual performance reviews, and promote continuous improvement
• Oversee the inspection of incoming vendor components and internally manufactured parts
• Disposition rejected parts (NCMR) and document corrective action (CAR) in ERP system
• Review and approve Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for finished rides
• Follow industry and government regulations concerning amusement ride manufacturing
• Work with state inspectors and ride safety officials to maintain required documentation of Chance built amusement rides
• Develop and track key quality performance metrics and processes
• Identify and implement productivity projects offsetting inflationary pressures

Preferred Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or related technical field
• 3+ years of prior supervisor experience, with 10+ years working in a quality role
• Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) preferred or willingness to obtain CWI certification through training paid by Chance Rides
• Experience in implementing and directing a quality management system (TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, TS, Kaizen, etc.) in a manufacturing environment
• Must have strong leadership skills combined with team building and problem solving
• Experience with performing quality transactions and reports in an ERP system
• Demonstratable translation of quality system requirements into real world management and value add execution
• Must have a good understanding of budgets, business management and customer-supplier relationships
• Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or aerospace quality systems a plus
• Experience with product safety a plus
• Knowledge of amusement ride operations, maintenance, AIMS, or NARRSO are preferred although not required
• Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written communication
• Adequate computer skills including spreadsheet and word-processing applications

What We’re Looking For

• Artistic eye with strong attention to detail

Chance Rides LLC manufactures a diverse line of amusement ride products that include trains, trams, carousels, thrill rides, observation wheels and roller coasters that are enjoyed all over the world. With 65 years of legacy and talent, our dedicated leadership, management and skilled workforce serve customers that include stand-alone attraction venues across the globe, large and regional theme parks, family entertainment centers, zoos and aquariums. With a steady growth in business, we are currently looking for an experienced Parts Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team. Job Duties include (but not limited to):

• Take and respond to customer phone calls and emails with courtesy, urgency, and professionalism.
• Provides timely and accurate information to customer inquiries for parts pricing, availability, and order status.
• Enter sales orders via ERP system
• Provide technical help on our full line of products via phone/email.
• Manage back ordered parts (dates, addresses, colors, etc.)
• Work with purchasing and production to ensure on time delivery of parts.
• Generates weekly and monthly parts sales reports for management.
• Proactively conduct calls to clients/customers

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in a parts/customer service role
• Ability to read technical parts manuals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Experience using an ERP system (Global Shop preferred)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (email/telephone/in person)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Final Electrician to be part of our unique industry. Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Bend and install conduit
• Install and wire electrical enclosures
• Install and wire lighting
• Final Assembly wiring installation
• Complete electrical Factory Acceptance Test.

Preferred Skillset:

• Ideal candidate will have 2 years experience as a journeyman electrician
• Familiar with use of multiple hand tools (drills, rivet guns, air saws, die grinders, taps, dies, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and schematics
• Strong communication (oral and written) skills
• Self-motivated to see a project or problem through to resolution
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and on multiple projects
• Willingness to submit to and ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
• Ability to work 1st shift with OT, as needed

Chance Rides, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician to join the team.

What You’ll Do

• Assembling and fitting heavy mechanical components (extra kudos if you’ve worked with electrical!)
• Using your mechanical know-how and favorite tools to bring rides to life
• Reading blueprints and schematics with precision
• Operating forklifts and overhead cranes when needed
• Collaborating with teammates to hit deadlines—and celebrate wins together

What We’re Looking For

• Solid mechanical skills and confidence with hand/power tools
• 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred (auto mechanic skills = bonus points)
• Able to lift 50 lbs., work 1st shift, and OT when needed
• Safety-first mindset: must pass physical, background check, and drug screen
